I'm coloring my hair brown in a few days, but I'm not sure what shade to choose. Pictures would be greatly appreciated, because I suck at trying to describe colors and I like to be able to take in a picture to show what I want.

I let a cosmetology student work on my hair, highlights specifically. They didn't do much of a difference.
Why are people so afraid of putting red-oranges in my hair? Is it normal? Like, they're comfortable doing red-reds but with coppers, they assume it will make me look like a pumpkin. |

It's official. Sometime between now (obviously after xmas since no one will be open tomorrow, haha.) and new years I'll be hacking off approximately 2..3...4 inches off? Haha.

i crave it. and i haven't done it in a little while, and i really feel the need to do it again soon.
and my hair is surprisingly healthy for how much i've dyed it.

Here's the story: I dyed my hair black in September and have recently realized just what an awful idea that was in the long run. In an effort to fix it I went to my salon to see what they could do. The fix? Red highlights to break up the pile of ick that was my hair.

Lately, I've been thinking about dying my hair. I just have no idea what color I'd dye it. I've been thinking about a dark red or something, but I'm not sure. I'm down for any color. What do you guys think?

Question for you madrad'rs.
If you have a cowlick in the front of your head, is it possible to train your hair to change. I used to part my hair in the very middle because of my cowlick, however I have trained my hair to part[y] to the side.
I would really like a hair cut with short, short straight across bangs. Is this possible?

Hey, i'm making an appointment to get my hair cut and i have NO idea what to do with my hair.
I have basically had it the same way for the past year or so, just a longer version as the time goes by. My ends are dead and they need to be cut off about an inch or so because i want my hair to look super healthy again.
I've always had a ton of layers and even though it's just the style, it always makes my ends look less healthy, or split, so i'm thinking of having a less layered style at the bottom.
Uhmm, here's a picture. Natural, and then Straight.
Any suggestions at all? I have no clue what to do with it, and my bangs.
Pictures would be nice please.

So I've prettttty much decided, after all this time growing out my hair..i want a pixie again.
Or i can grow my hair out? I literally have no idea what to do about my hair. haha. It's really sad and ridiculous.
So it's pixie and keep it up, and remember to wear makeup to look like a girl,
Or grow it out, and wear clip in extensions whenever? Or keep the bob thing, and add layers...which is kinda boring me right now, and i feel doesnt flatter my cheekbones as much as i wish it did.
Opinions?
Now:
I cut off my disconnection i had, but now i think the back is a lil longer than the front, and I've been wearing my hair natural which has become wavy...which i like.

HAAAAL
I'm growing out a pixie and I really just want long hair again.. so help me get there. It always gets to the length it's at now and then I cut it. It's baaaaad i just want it past my shoulders!!!

can i pull it off? am i too pale? should i even try? ( i have naturally dark eyebrows, but i know that i wouldn't mind having those with my light hair) i understand the damage impending upon my hair, but i really want something new. |

My hair was pretty fried from it being bright red and then blue and I really hate having long bangs so I got it chopped yesterday. I also got a ton of it pulled out during a fight (hahahahaha :[) so it generally needed some fixing.

okay. i have a very bad history with my hair. ever since i was little i had insane curls. once i got to about 5th grade and began to take care of my hair without the help of my mother, my hair got super frizzy. it was awful. i always wore it in a ponytail and i absolutely hated it. i became known for my poofball of a head! then about one year ago i got this procedure done to take away a ton of the frizz (not chemical straightening). more after the cut (pic happy. beware):
